This course is designed for non-English major undergraduate students. It introduces students to classical British and American writers and literary works. Students will enjoy reading, gain basic knowledge of literary history, and know how to appreciate or criticize a literary work better. Students will also improve their reading, speaking and writing abilities in the process.

Reading will be assigned every week. Discussions, presentations and other activities will be included. A term paper is also required.
